#360Summer Sauvie Island

Week #2 of my summer 2016 project documenting Portland in 360 degrees. This week we’re picking fruit on Sauvie Island, a small farming community just north of downtown and accessible by Trimet!

During the summer I have a tendency to do the same things over and over.  Play volleyball, sit on the beach at our lake cabin and berry picking are my top three summer activities.  Strawberry season my have passed but berry picking is far from over.  Here’s me and my little girl picking the last of the strawberries at Sauvie Island Farms.  I love this place.  We’ll be back for blues, blacks, raspberries and peaches over the next two months.
