Feast Portland: Smoked

Video post: I take you inside Feast Portland’s Saturday night marquee event, Smoked.

As usual, Feast Portland, did not fail to disappoint.  One of the most impressive parts of this festival is how well it’s planned.  Every detail seems to be taken care of, and that continued to be the case on Saturday night when Mother Nature threw a curve ball.  RAIN!  As rainy days go, it wasn’t too bad but it was still muddy, cold and wet.  Luckily, Smoked was far from rained out. Everyone just showed up in their Hunter boots and rain coats and had partied in the rain!

As you might imagine, Smoked is a celebration on all things cooked over a fire or with a flame.  There was lots of barbecue, lots of smoke and some great views of the Fremont Bridge.  Rather than describe everything I ate, I captured as much as I could on video.  Here is Smoked through my eyes.

{Disclosure: I was provided a Feast 2016 Blogger pass that included a ticket to Smoked and access to the Grand Tasting and Drink Tank events in exchange for coverage.  All opinions are my own.}
