Nuvrei

A beautiful European style cafe in the heart of the Pearl District with phenomenal pastries and food.

This week I stopped in to see an old friend (from elementary school!)  at the beautiful cafe and bakery, Nuvrei in the Pearl District. I haven’t been there in a while and  I was so charmed.  They are known for their macarons, but the rest of their pastries are pretty excellent too.  I can’t resist their cheesy pretzels or their bagels.  I usually find their stuff at other coffee shops around Portland.  Beyond the food, this is a very hip cafe with a European vibe.  Very clean, very polished and elegant.  It’s a little small, but cozy and a great place to stop in for sweets, a snack or even lunch if you’re in the area.
