Top Down: Rooftop Cinema

Continuing in my theme of outdoor movies, I’d like to present Top Down: Tooftop Cinema. Six films shown Thursday nights under the stars on the top of Hotel deLuxe!  The movies are picked by the good people at Northwest Film Center and begin July 22nd.

Someone I know needs to go to the first show so I can hear all about it (alas, I work Thursday nights)because it sounds awesome. It’s Alfred Hitchcock’s silent film, Blackmail and a LIVE orchestra will be playing the soundtrack.

Before each show, crowds will be warmed up  by a live band, the deLuxe hotel will offer a menu of “easy to juggle” food, plus sponsors TAZO & McTarnahans will be in attendance.  Doors at 8pm, show 9-9:30 depending on sundown.   Admission $8 per person.  Bring a blanket or portable chair.
